Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Auckland.  Escorted in luxury car to your hotel.  The rest of the day is yours to explore the sights of the city until dinner this evening.  Possible activities include the Auckland museum for Polynesian and Maori culture shows; the Auckland Art Gallery featuring well known New Zealand and international artists; Kelly Tarlton’s Antarctic Encounter & Underwater World to get a close up look of a range of sea life; get the adrenalin pumping with a bungy jump from the Harbour Bridge or Sky Tower (tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere; or just wander downtown Auckland looking in at the many shops.

StayHilton Hotel Auckland.  This 5 star hotel is almost literally out to sea.  Perched at the tip of Princess Wharf, all rooms have balconies that overlook the Auckland harbour.
Dine:  Euro.  Constantly rated as one of the best restaurants in New Zealand.  A modern New Zealand menu in outstanding surroundings.

Day 2

Today is your first round of golf at Gulf Harbour Country Club.  After golf the group takes a guided tour of Auckland, taking in all the sights Auckland has to offer including Mission Bay, Parnell, Auckland Museum, Sky Tower, and Victoria Park Market.

DineAntoine’s.  The country's oldest, and one of the most celebrated restaurants offers a nostalgia menu with favourite classics, alongside menu choices which change weekly.

Day 3

This morning we catch a 9am helicopter flight north to play at the Kauri Cliffs Golf Course.  The flight there takes in the spectacular views of Auckland and the Bay of Islands.  After golf, the return flight takes the group to Rotorua where you will spend the next two nights.

StayDuxton Hotel.  Just 15 minutes drive from central Rotorua, this hotel is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rotoiti with deluxe rooms that overlook.
Dine:  You and Me Restaurant.  Celebrated chef Hiroyuki Teraoke blends a perfect mix of ‘East meets West’ (or more specifically France meets Japan).

Day 4

Today we have a non-golfing day in Rotorua, the ‘Sulphur City’.  Rotorua is New Zealand’s most dynamic thermal area with hot springs steaming away, geysers spurting high into the air, and exploding mud pools.  Rotorua is packed with things to do, and we have selected the ‘must do’ activities – erupting geysers and exploding mud pools at Te Whakarewarewa village; the Agrodome which gives a hands-on farming experience; the Zorb for adrenalin junkies where you strap yourself into a sphere and roll down a hill; and a gondola ride up Mt Ngongotaha.  After the days activities the tour returns to the hotel before dining at Tamaki Maori Village.

DineTamaki Maori Village.  The award winning concert and hangi (traditional Maori dinner) provides great laughs and great food while taking you back in time to experience life in pre-European New Zealand.

Day 5

Day 5 starts with a drive to Taupo, home of New Zealand’s largest lake of the same name.  Here we are faced with New Zealand’s finest inland golf course, Wairakei International.  After golf the group will face their toughest golfing challenge, The Great Lake Hole In One Challenge.  Here players hit their balls from the shore to a floating island 50 meters away which is no bigger than a golf green with prizes to be won.  The group will then take in the sights and activities of Taupo before retiring to the lodge for drinks and dinner.

Stay and DineHuka Lodge.  This luxury lodge has hosted people from royalty to rock stars and has won numerous national and international awards.

Day 6

This morning starts with a drive to the vineyard rich Hawkes Bay area.  What awaits is golf at New Zealand’s finest course, Cape Kidnappers.  Compared by Golf Magazine to Pebble Beach, Cape Kidnappers also rates as one of the top golf courses in the world.  After golf the group will be taken on a tour of the many vineyards in the area before heading back to the lodge for dinner and drinks.

Stay and dine: The Farm at Cape Kidnappers.  Completed in November 2007, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers contains all the luxuries that one expects from a five star lodge and more.

Day 7

Our second non-golfing day is on day 7 and starts with a flight to Wellington, New Zealand’s cultural and political capital.  Once in Wellington the group will visit Te Papa, the ‘Museum of New Zealand’, catch a cable car to get a great view of Wellington, before finishing the afternoon’s activities with an excellent Lord of the Rings tour which visits many Wellington sights that featured in the three Oscar winning films.

StayHotel Intercontinental.  Wellington’s premium hotel is located in the heart of Wellington’s shopping area within easy walking distance of Wellington’s entertainment district.
DineLogan Brown.  The chefs/co-owners of this classy restaurant star in their own TV show where they trade the comfort of their restaurant for the great outdoors, picking and catching their own food which they then use to create seasonal delicacies.

Day 8

Luxury Golf Tours New Zealand comes to the official close today, and what a finale.  The final days play takes us to Paraparaumu Beach Golf Course, the course that tamed the Tiger.  The 45 minute drive there takes in the beautiful Kapiti Coast which takes it’s name from Kapiti Island, a large bird and marine sanctuary 3 miles offshore.  After your final round the group makes their way back to their hotel to get ready for tonight’s final awards presentation dinner.

GolfParaparaumu Beach Golf Course.  Has the honour as being the only golf course in New Zealand to have hosted Tiger Woods.  See if you can beat his scores!

DineMartin Bosley’s Yacht Club Restaurant.  Set overlooking the Wellington Harbour, Martin Bosley's Yacht Club Restaurant was named New Zealand's Restaurant of the Year in 2006 and 2007.  The perfect location for the tours final dinner and the awards ceremony.

Day 9

Sadly day 9 signals the group’s departure from New Zealand.  After breakfast you are escorted to Wellington airport where you will board a flight to Auckland before continuing on to your home country.  We hope you will have enjoyed your time with us in our country and wish you a safe flight home.
