Tour Itinerary
Day 1
You step off the plane at Auckland airport and are met by your Luxury Golf Tours New Zealand escort, who collects your bags and takes you to your waiting limousine. As you drive to your downtown Auckland hotel you sip on fine New Zealand sparkling wine and relax after your flight.
You now arrive at your 5 star hotel and are shown to your room where you have a few hours to yourself to either relax or explore the city before this evening's dinner.
Tonight you dine at one of Auckland's finest restaurants, overlooking the magical Auckland Harbour. Here you meet and mingle with the other members of the tour party before dining on a delectable four course meal with fine New Zealand wines.
After dinner, the Luxury Golf Tours New Zealand presentation begins and you and your fellow tour members are presented with your player's shirt and gift bag.
As the presentation comes to a close, the limousines arrive and you retire to your hotel room where you will rest up for tomorrow's first round of the tour.
Day 2
You awake in your luxury room to find perfect golfing conditions await you outside. The anticipation builds as you make your way down to breakfast.
After you arrive at Gulf Harbour Country Club and make your way to the changing room, you and your fellow tour members feel the pressure that top golfers from around the world have felt – the first day's play at Gulf Harbour, home to the 2006 New Zealand Open.
As your final putt drops into the 18th hole, you make your way back to the clubhouse adding up the scores to a most successful day's golf. After a drink in the clubhouse you make your way back to the bus to be taken back to your hotel, making a few sightseeing stops on the way.
As you open the door to your hotel room and look out your window over the stunning Auckland Harbour, you relax and reflect on your first day's play before getting ready for yet another night of fine New Zealand cuisine and wine.
Day 3
After an excellent round of golf the previous day at Gulf Harbour you are excited to play in today's round at Kauri Cliffs, ranked #30 in the world outside the US. After breakfast you are picked up by luxury car and taken to a heliport where your next ride awaits.
As your helicopter lifts into the air on its way to Kauri Cliffs Golf Course you take in the magnificent sight of Auckland – the ‘city of sails'. Your flight to Kauri Cliffs takes the costal route to the beautiful Matauri Bay, soaking in the sights of Omaha Beach, Pakiri, Mangawhai Heads, Bream Bay, Tutukaka, and the Bay of Islands.
Once at the course you find your way to the first hole. As you stand at the tee looking 439 yards down the fairway toward the pin, you manage to block out the views and drive you ball straight down the middle of the fairway. Another perfect start to another perfect day.
